My hospital has decided to outsource our whole dept and will GO Live with them in or around 8-5. I will be going from an hourly rate to pay by line which I have done before, not pretty either. Their insurance is around $660 for myself and my spouse so I cannot afford for both, only me. They do not furnish a computer, pay for cable. We girls are very upset over this. I am having a very hard time getting back to my old speed. I am going to be loosing around $500 a month. The only advantage that we have right now is that we will be doing the same doctors which is one good thing.
They are not supposed to outsource the work to the Phillipines for my soon to be ex-hospital. I hope our paychecks are not done in the Phillipines. It is going to be hard enough to keep line count straight and getting line count will be harder I think since they do not pay for spaces. If anyone is thinking about applying hoping to get a job at my hospital the doctors are pretty good dictators. We do not have too many ESL at all. Hope this helps.
