to hear that. But I was too, at the end of May. Not fired, per se, because I was an IC QA Editor for Focus, for the past 6-1/2 years. Received an impersonal letter in the mail, that gave me the choice of a) becoming an employee (part time at that), beginning in four days. Other choice was to stop working on Friday. Needless to say, I am an IC and have to remain so. So I agreed, and gave my notice, and stopped work on that Friday.

So....hired by Focus....fired by Nuance.....they have gotten much, much worse, under the Nuance umbrella....just not so shady about it, I'm afraid.
