I eventually did get high speed but worked for DSG for a while with before that with dial-up and it was not too bad at the time.  Best of luck.

sorry for the delay
a USB pedal is one that uses your USB port on your computer, as opposed to a serial port (with pins). They are wav pedals. ExpressScribe should work with just about any pedal. Some of the other digital voice recorders from different companies do require specific pedals, primarily serial port, where the pedals are wired specifically by the pins as to what goes fast forward or reverse, etc. This really should be all you need simply to test, unless they specifically say you need a C phone which would require a different type of pedal. They would state that, however, in their ad. Test first and then ask questions. Tests are not always easy. They seem to send the worst voice files they have to test on. I wish you luck, but yes, researching can help alot. We were all newbies once and alot of MTs tend to forget that.
Unfortunately, this is a UPS delay (sm)
My tracking number shows it was sent out Thursday for overnight delivery on Friday. After waiting all day Friday for it to arrive, I contacted UPS and was told they were not delivering overnight letters on Friday due to the Christmas rush, and was told the letter would be delivered to me on Saturday. I waited all day yesterday and still no check. I spoke with them again last night, at which time they said it was sitting at the hub in my local area waiting to be put on a truck for delivery. When I asked if I could just drive to the hub to pick it up since it was getting so late, I was told I couldn't, but that it would be delivered to me by the close of business. Here it is Sunday and still no check, and now they are closed until Tuesday.

No offense to your husband, but this isn't the first time UPS hasn't delivered my overnight package as promised. Actually, this is the 6th time this year they haven't delivered my paycheck on time, including one time when it was lost completely and a stop payment on the check had to be issued. Sure wish my employer would switch to another service, or better yet just offer direct deposit for ICs!
Maybe with the delay it will sm
give the reporter time to maybe dig deeper into this. This may just be the opening all MTs have been needing annd wanting. Thanks Travelin MT!!!!!!!!!
MediTech delay
Asked the IT person at my MTSO why the Meditech lag/delay and got the same it's at your end answer as your hospital gave. (Actually, after first passing the buck and instructing me to ask my ''Team Lead''.) Apparently MTSOs are not the only ones who employ liars who will create confusion and say just about anything rather than admit they don't know. What the hay!--It's not their paycheck that's affected, so who cares!
