Either got in trouble or trying to stay out of trouble. My daughter sued her employer (non-medical) for OT not being paid and them continously demanding that she work over and not put in on time sheet. She won her case. All in-house and other MT companies I've ever worked for over 20 years have never allowed OT unless approved in advance. I didn't find the email unusual at all.
