I still couldn't get it to work. Got Express Scribe downloaded and the files loaded into express scribe but when I tried to play a file all the buttons were highlighting by themselves in a serial fashion and my computer seemed frozen. Had to reboot and it just kept happening so I did the test the hard way, without a foot pedal. Hope it is worth it. Took me 2 hours to do it that way. Thank you for all of your advice though.
