I'm just starting with them and so far they look and sound great!!  I'm very impressed with them and hope to be with them for a long, long time:)

They are in Miami area, offshore, and have been around for some time.  Owner seems to be a decent sort.

I previously asked for information from MTs working for eMTS regarding your platform. Do you go through Citrex to entry the platform? What about your line count, give me a ballpark figure for a full day. Thanks

Any feedback on eMTS?

There is a new job posted on the job board advertising a $2000 sign-on bonus.  It doesn't say what you have to do to get the bonus, but the description sounds good (I know, they all sound good in writing!!).

I am wondering if any of you out there have any info about them?  I am with MQ now, not sure what the future holds with them!!

Also, how difficult is it to get a job with another company if you are not a certified MT?  I have been doing this for 11 years now, my mother-in-law owned her own MT business for 30+ years.  She sold her business to another company, eventually MQ bought them out.  Is there anyone out there who changed companies who was not certified?

I quit MQ and went to work for E-mts.  They have tons of work.  There are very few ESL doctors which is so wonderful and one of the main reasons I wanted to work for them not to mention the fact that they PAY FOR DOWN TIME.  If you have no work, THEY PAY YOU ANYWAY.  This is not just lip service.  Once in a while, my account will run out of work and I am paid down time.  You do have backup accounts also so down time is when their system is down usually but once in a while, you do run out of work but not very often.  I am making about 25% more than I was and I have only been with them for 6 months now.  They have wonderful QA staff and they also have a mentor who is with you for the first 3 months of your probation.  They use DSL  but you provide your own computer.  The software was something I was not familiar with.  That was the most tedious just getting used to the software as it is totally different than DQS but once you get the hang of it, it is a breeze.  You can work full time or part time.  They are great about time off also as long as they have some advanced warning. 

It is such a wonderful change to work for a company that is not too big but big enough  that they can offer great benefits, health care, PTO, incentive bonuses as well as great feedback given in a very helpful manner (they treat you like a human being again).  Also, they pay you for every key stroke, header, footer, etc. I love working for them and truly enjoy being a Transcriptionist again and have pride in my work again.  Be prepared, however, they want quality work 98% or above in accuracy, no slop so really have to be on your toes but it really worth it.  I can't praise them enough. 

I would like to know how much they pay for acute care MTs?

How much work is required per day?

Is the work a huge pool or do you have your own accounts?

Just curious about this company. . .

One thing more  - are these reports ro letters - I hate looking up addresses!!

Would anyone please tell me if they work for eMTS using ChartScript and if so, what is the line count like, good, average. Do you think the count is right on their platform? Have been using the same platform for another company and just know the count is not like it should be. Please, any information would be helpful in making a decision regarding this.

I have job offers from both eMTS and Transhealth.  Not sure which to go with.  I would appreciate any input.  Thanks!

To be full-time, do you have to work a full 8 hours a day or do they let you finish when a certain line count is reached for that day?

What platform do they use? Do they pay on time? Is there enough work? Any information would be helpful.  Thanks in advance.

First of all, who needs feedback on every report?  If you are doing your job well, you do not need feedback on a constant basis, especially if you are experienced. 

As for they "steel" lines, i.e. steal, I'm not sure what you are talking about either.    Why would they pay for headers and footers when all the demographics come up for you?  I seldom have to spend any time looking patient names up.  I worked for a company who had you sorting through pages of patient info to get information and felt I should be paid for headers and footers.  In this case, I don't do anything, I verify what is already there and transcribe.  I do not know why your line count is so low, maybe it is the account you are on.  I've never had trouble achieving the bonus at the end of the pay period.

Like I stated before, I speak for myself and each MT has to find the company that fits them best.  Good luck in your search. 

If you asked for a transfer, some MQ offices have put a freeze on that, if you office is closed, which many have already closed and many more will be closed by the end of the year, you have no choice where you are being transferred

don't get me wrong, there are good offices out there,(Ohio being one but supposedly that is closing also, why i don't know--it is a great office, keep it open) unfortunately all the MQ offices are not run the same so when you are hired it is the luck of the draw on where you are heading

here is a thought, when new MT's are hired, are they being sent to the offices that MQ knows that they are not closing'--why be sent to an office that will close in 3 months

are they still advertising for new hires??
