 but the thought is appreciated.
 
 On the flip side, you might be surprised to know that qualified MTs often apply for a position, having followed the suggestions you outline, to the letter, but do not receive as much as a courteous acknowledgement of the resume.
 
 It's easy to set up an auto- response email, and any response is better than none - and we (at least I) remember the latter.
 
 Worse, is when we take a lot of time to take tests in advance of *any* other type of contact and even though we can tell we have passed, we still don't receive a reply.
 
 Am I the only one who takes note of *this* type of unprofessionalism on the side of the employer/service?
