Thanks to all for your kind words. I actually tried to handle this with my liaison and the other appropriate people but just kind of got a very polite run-around (which doesn't pay the mortgage)and which really did not answer my questions as to where the work is and what the future will hold. I think very highly of MDI, I really do. I just think that they, like all companies, are really in a tight economy and things are shifting in the profession right now. I am trying to hang on a bit longer because I do love my work there. It is just frustrating because I babysat my account for ten hours yesterday and still did not get the lines I needed. I really want to stay and am trying to be patient, but cannot hang on here forever. My budget is stretched to the max already, as I am sure many of yours are as well. I am just going to really evaluate over the next two weeks and see if there is any improvement at all. I have a few days off in the middle of August (am taking a staycation) and if things are not better by then, that is when I will make the change. Maybe we should all get together for a lunch? Wish we could.
