I am an IC, but I'd rather type from a pool so that if my own accounts are busy enough and I do not need the extra income, then someone else can pick up. So many ICs take on certain line counts, hours, assigned doctors, and then complain they have no vacation, etc. If you are an IC, then you need to search for companies that have back-up when needed, and then don't complain when there is no work either.
