and what I want to know is how can so many people with so many different kinds of routers all have issues?  I think it's their usual answer.  I used to believe them, but since I've seen other people having problems getting in the same time I was, I think it's them.

They even told me to buy a new router once.  No, I don't think so.  It works fine for everything else under the sun.

Spheris - no routers allowed
Well, I don't know what to do now. Spheris liked my tests and decided to hire me. They sent me a large packet of information to fill out, notarize, copy, and return by Fedex. This is so I can get my computer by Oct. 6. One of the forms says that they will not offer technical support to anyone who uses a router, or who has an IP address that means 2-wire router. All this for nothing. She got me a special shift that I really like too. They actually answer their phone during the day.

I agree with AnudderMT, you can have routers. It's just that when something goes wrong Internet-wise, they can't help with that (which is the same with any company so no big deal in regard to that). I just left Spheris about a month ago along with about 8 other people I know. Are you really sure you want to hire on with this company?
Spheris- no WIRELESS routers
Yes, I agree. Most people have other people living with them who use computers. After going on message boards and getting no response, I went further into the packet and saw an agreement I had to sign that I will not use a WIRELESS router and the Spheris computer has to be hooked up with regular cord, not wireless router. I don't have the wireless, I have the Ethernet cord.
I read somewhere that certain routers dont work with VPN. SM
I believe it was a certain Linksys brand.

I would like to go wireless too.
