UST

I currently work there. There are some pros/cons. There are just my experiences. It depends on which account you get. My friend absolutely LOVES it there, but I have a different experience.

PROS
- The President of the company is a true sweetheart. He has been very helpful to me and is so easy to talk to. The IT team/HR is also amazing.
- Pretty good pay! :) Op notes are 9 cpl and clinic notes are 8 cpl. They have a bunch of accounts, too.
- Work hasn't been TOO low. There are some days when the workload is a tad low, but it hasn't been too bad. Sometimes there is too much work.
- They are flexible there at UST.
- Depending on which account you work for, the platform is easy and it works well. They use Dictaphone/ExText for some accounts and their own Patriot system for their own. I don't have any complaints with that.
- Pay is on time.

CONS
- QA is so dang picky, at least on my account. They say to do one thing, and when you do it, you get yelled at for it. This is just my account though. My friend doesn't experience this on her account. She says her QA staff is really friendly. I can't get my QA score up to minimum because they mark *everything* that is incorrect, even when it isn't wrong.
- The training manual was horrid and so disorganized. There was no training to speak of. They didn't really show you any ropes or what to do with the account. That would have been just fine if the training manual was halfway organized. When I ask a question, I get talked to so rudely.
- No paid vacation, sick time or paid time off. EVER. During your first year, you get a measly 32 hours to use for all three of those things. After a year, your time increases. Still, it is not paid.
- The health insurance is a pretty decent price, but the deductibles are horrid.
- You have to count your own lines at the end of the day, at least on my account. That takes so much time on top of having to get a minimum of 1200 lines a day anyways, which can be tricky on this account where a 10-minute dictation only ends up being half a page long!

That has been my experience so far, but it might not be yours. You may really like it there. :) A lot of other people do!
