People are willing to accept the wages being offered.  Some people will do anything to be able to work from home.  I believe that was the beginning of the end... the work-at-home craze that struck the MT industry.  As soon as we were out of sight, we were out of mind.  Well, that, and also the fact that a degree, or even certification (something better than AHDI certification) is not required to be an MT.  I wish MT required an associates degree minimum.  We may get more respect that way.
