 The problem with VR seems to be that the increase in production does not make up for the decrease in pay, i.e. you make less than you would transcribing, especitally if you're a fast typist.  Also, it can take a lot of correcting and does not take much less time than just straight transcribing would, yet you are getting paid less.  There are some MTs who state they make more money with VR, but I suspect that are probably slower typists or they have an account with unusually good speech recognition.  But it seems most MTs, myself included, can may more money with straight transcription.  You won't really know till you try the account you're getting.  Maybe you'll be lucky and there will be very little to correct.  Good luck!
