I actually got into this profession to work at home with my kids almost 3 and 1 at the time. My intent was always to go back to work at a real job when they went to school. Boy was I delusional about the real job part. MT and ME are very real jobs and can be very enjoyable. I used to work from when I put my girls to bed at 8:00 p.m. until midnight or 1:00 a.m. and then get back up and work from 5:00 a.m. to 7:00 or 8:00 a.m. to work until my girls got up. I would nap with them during the day or work if I needed to while they were napping. It was not easy, BUT I would not change one little thing about it! I was able to help contribute to our income, keep my mind sharp, and still be at home with my kids. They are 11 and 13 now and I really enjoy doing what I do! There are ups and downs like with EVERYTHING else in life, but I still would not change a thing and pray that I never have to get a real job out in real world again. I hope I can do this until I retire, that's the plan:) It may not have been the easiest path, but it was and still is the best path for me and for my family!:)

If it was easy everybody would do it, but it is not and for any of our friends who think this is not a real job.... well I challenge them to do it for 1 day!
