| Well, I'm not going to toot my own horn because s/mPosted By: TT112 on 2008-04-20In Reply to: So you are saying that QAs & leads - are not valuable enough as MTs?

every time I do I never fail to do something to knock myself down a peg or two.  I assume I'm an OK MT or I wouldn't still be there.   They've never asked me to be a lead or Q.A., which is okay because I wouldn't do it anyway....been there, done that...don't wanta.

Go toot your horn somewhere else. MT is NOT going the way of the Do-Do as long as
their are dictators that can't speak a declarative sentence and clearly or refuse to type into an EMR software.  Tessier isn't doing MTs ANY favors no matter what her intentions are and clearly neither are you.
 Toot, toot. LOL

 Hate blowing Acusis' horn, but
They've pretty much got one platform that all their accounts are in. I think there's still one small 'rogue' account that's off on it's own but few transcriptionists ever see that (and it may have gotten folded in with the rest by now, anyway).

If you can get past the sneaky way they just cut pay (after reassuring everyone that pay cuts for the MTs was just a vile rumor) and the onslaught of VR, a lot of the major beefs people have with other companies are non-issues.

I don't understand all the different platforms, either. I thought the idea of having them all based on MS Word was so that the integrated with the majority of hospital systems. I have a hard enough time keeping track of all the different formats, let alone the different hoops you have jump through on differing platforms to input those formats.
