What did you say?!

I agree.  Ditch those standard transcription headset!  I'm hard of hearing, so hard of hearing, in fact, that I'm seriously considering hearing aids next year.  How I'll be able to wear those and transcribe, I have no idea, but that's another topic.

I have used JVC earbuds in the past and really like them.  Tone/treble is so much better.  Dictation sounds crisper.  Unfortunately the cord bit the dust and after much research I invested in another pair of earbuds at $40 a pop but they're wondrous.  Unfortunately I can't remember the name.  Starts with an S and the packaging is long gone!  (smart me, eh?)  I got them via Amazon though and can go and look at my order hx for you if you'd like.
