    I just noticed this post because I always have to debate with myself on this . I thought if it was a noun, then hyphen between.
    advise is a verb - advice is a noun
    Just because a word is in spell-check does not mean it has been used properly. Advice is a noun, i.e., I need your advice. Advise is a verb, i.e., I advise you to learn proper grammar. This is basic elementary school grammar.
