I work for Webmedx, and my hourly equivalent is $20. My day is about half straight typing and half voice rec. I get between 1800 and 2000 lines in my 8-hour. I do take a few 15-minute breaks throughout my 8 hours, but I keep my butt planted to this seat the rest of the time. I don't answer the phone unless it's the kids' school (caller ID). After my taxes and my dental, medical, and vision coming out, I bring home $1200 a pay period (every 2 weeks), sometimes a little more when I work overtime, sometimes a little more when I have an awesome day. Last week, I had one of those and transcribed 2150 lines. It is possible! Give 110%!
