Same thing happened to me.

She acted like she was doing me a huge favor by offering me a job.  She talked quite a bit about the fact that Transcend is traded on the stock market, but didn't say if they offer shares to employees.  I think I was expected to be positively impressed by this.  Well, I was impressed all right.  The first thing I thought was that I did not want to work for a company that answers to stockholders..not that they don't all have profit as the main goal, but having stockholders just seems to put a different flavor on the stuff that is dished out at a company and it is not always sweet.  At least that has been my experience.

She offered me this so-called NICE account, but I knew different, as I had worked on that AWFUL account at another company!!
