course there are some days when it's OPs that are coming up most because they are behind and the other stuff is caught up. Or sometimes they assign stuff. But they have been known to ask me if I'm okay to do a bunch of echoes (sure), or can I do cardiac caths (not so much!). They don't want to assign you a bunch from a work type you can't do efficiently, which is great. But yes, usually you get a mix, but at least on my current work type, it comes in waves. That's nice though because I like OPs, but haven't done all that many, and sometimes you'll get the same doc 3-4 times and be able to work on normals for him. How great is that?
