I have 15 yrs of experience and I get 8.5 as a base rate (which I never get because I always have incentive back to line one and average 9.25 to 9.5 cpl). Right NOW, it is unusual to find 9 cents with so little experience.

When I worked for Zylo, I had more than 10 yrs of experience and typed operative notes for 8.5 and felt lucky to have it. I did get to where I did 1800 lines in about 5 to 6 hours on that and always had time and energy for a PT job too. It is amazing because I am a chronic and constant break taker during my shift.

Line rate is not everything. I have long understood that the only way to truly make more money is to be fast on an expander.
