You problems

Your knowledge of SoftScript and how they pay can fill a thimble. Here are the facts, from someone who has been there for several years and clears 65-75K annually on a line rate: when recruiting, they usually target MT's with 10+ years on. They WILL match your current line rate, or exceed it, if you can verify you actually make that (would YOU take YOU at YOUR word? I wouldn't).

You would be surprised how many MT's fail a basic MT word test- scores of 70 and 72 are common from those with even 20 yrs. experience. I am aware of applicants stating that they have 10 years of acute experience when in reality, it was clinic work.

You would be surprised how many claim they want full time, 40/hr. a week work, yet in six months time, can never seem to actually work more than 20 hr. weeks. It is AMAZING how many lightning storms, tornados, deaths in family, lost dogs, sick cats, backaches, neckaches, doctor's appointments, PC problems, cable issues, migraines, calls from children's schools, husband lost at sea, toe cramps and jury duty one employee can have in a 3-6 month time!!!

You would be shocked to learn how many applicants fudge their resume, and how many exaggerate their skills and their earnings. It is amazing how many new applicants claim to type 170 lines an hour and after 3 months average 70.

It is amazing how many three-minute reports take 30 minutes to complete (yet the keystroke count shows enough typing actually done for 10 reports! (Could it be their time is spent IM'ing, or posting on ridiculous whining boards like this one, or even typing simultaneously for other companies?)

You would shocked to see how an 8-12 schedule suddenly gets to be a 9:30-10:15, and 6:30-7:00 schedule every day. You would be glad to know how many of us make terrific livings, typing our schedules and helping out when overtime is requested. Yes, I have some hard ESL's, but no different from where you work! They have plenty of work and keep getting more. The supervisors leave the good MT's alone as their time is concentrated on the newer and less skilled MT's. If you suck, you're gone, and I don't have a problem with that. Apparently many of you do.

That, to me, is a you problem.
