applicants is still the recruiter, even if the company is run out of a cardboard box down by the river.  (Hey .. . that would make them more proximal to the unemployed MTs driven to poverty by the ridiculous pay scales currently . . ) Good recruiting tactic.

After I do what is required and there is extra work at both places, I start with the one with the higher line rate and/or the one I am more productive on.  If I am going to put in extra time, I want to make it worth my while. 
Yeah, I feel sold out, even after all those pep talks :(
