the percentage would be for expenses shared with your household; i.e. mortage/rent, electricity, gas, etc. If you buy a computer, C-phone, or anything else for your home business, it is 100% deductible; comes right off the top of your income.

I've been IC for over 10 years, and just incorporated last year. Smartest thing I ever did.

Don't let all the paranoid posts about IC scare you. Talk to an accountant or CPA if you like, they will tell you it is a great thing to do as long as you have a professional prepare your taxes.
