have worked for Archivus in NC for 8 months now.  I love, love them.  They are very nice to work for.
Archivus, LLC
Does anyone know anything about this company??  Any comments would be appreciated.
archivus
I have worked for them about 9 months now.  Great company.
Archivus...
I've been working for them for 7 months and have absolutely no complaints.  Very nice people to work with, good work flow, and pay is always on time.
Archivus

Yes, they are very flexible.  I don't have a set shift at all.  I gave the account coordinator an approximate schedule, but they don't make you stick to it or any other schedule.  You pretty much work whenever you want to.  The account I am working on has a TAT of 48 hours.  I think this may be the standard for most of their other accounts, but I'm not sure.  I only have one ESL doctor on my account, but I think for the most part they have a very low number of ESL docs.  They do give you the option of working part-time or full-time.  I started out part-time, then switched to full-time.

Good luck on whatever you decide!

archivus
I agree with Funsize.  As to all your questions, I would guess it depends on what account you are working on.  I think they are a great company.
archivus
Hey Funsize, what account do you work on? I have never talked with anyone else who worked for Archivus. You can just use initials for account if you want. I have no ESLs.
archivus..

I work on cvmg.  How about you?

Btw, Hello! Nice to mee you!

archivus
Hi, nice to meet you.  I work on CCA.  My backup acct is CVMG though.  That is a nice account.  What state do you live in?  I'm in NC.
archivus

My brother and family live in SC.  If you want to email me sometime my home email is y2janet1@yahoo.com.  I live up in Burlington NC which is a long way from NJ where I came from about  a year ago.

Not much info in the archives on Archivus.  Any opinions on working for them?  Do they pay more than 9 cpl for an MT with over 10 yrs acute care experience?  Do they happen to have a 401K?

Thanks!

archivus
Have worked for them for about 10 months now.  Love, love them.  Not sure about the cpl and the 401K.  The account I work on is great.  Office people are good too.
Anyone no anything about Archivus? Nothing in

Anyone out there currently with Archivus? Thx. nm

Absolutely wonderful company to work for.  Pay is DD and ALWAYS ON TIME.  Account manager is awesome, patient and very professional.  I would recommend this company.  Platform is good also.
archivus
Love, love, love this company and all who work there.
Archivus
Are they employee status or IC?

Archivus is 100% better
than transtech, in my opinion, as far as the work goes, but the benefits at Transtech far outweigh the benefits you get at Archivus.

that may help you or it may not.
Archivus
Can you elaborate on that as far as the work goes
Archivus
I've heard good things about Archivus, but I was just wondering if anyone knew what line rate they would give for an MT with 2 years of experience starting out there. Any idea? I have heard they don't have much in the way of benefits, but do they have any benefits at all? I would assume they offer IC positions, not employee.
Archivus
Anyone heard of or work for this company?  I would like to hear all the good, bad and ugly.  Thinking of going with them.

Are they flexible?  What kind of platform? Many ESLs?  Nice people?  How is the pay?  What is the line requirement?  Thanks!
archivus
Working for them more than 3 years, my pay is every 15 and 30th, and direct deposited. Love this company.
archivus
Love, love Archivus.

The posts in the archives on Archivus are not good.  Trying searching in the box below the Google box.

To my knowledge, they pay about as average as every one else.

Archivus pay
If you are an employee you get paid 9 cents a line, if you are a contractor they start you off at 10 cents a line. There is no going above 10 cents though. Vianetta is the name of the platform they use, which is pretty good. You can work different hours, but you have to clear it with the transcription supervisor and make sure they are in writing because she misplaces things like that.
Archivus ????
Has anyone worked for Archivus using the Transcribe+ platform.  If so, what did you think of it?
Archivus
Archivus is IC - full time 1200 lines per day
Archivus

Your experience could be way different than mine.  Though the recruiter/QA supervisor stated that I would have three months to get up to 1200 lines/day, she really wanted it immediately and kept reminding me of that fact via emails.

Transcribe+ is not compatible with Word.  With some platforms, you can use the same shortcut keys as in Word.  However, Transcribe + is not compatible and, when I asked, no one was able to tell me of any shortcuts available for Transcribe+.  I tried using my Instant Text program with Transcribe+ and there were a lot of problems.  I tried transcribing into notepad and cutting and pasting into Transcribe+, but that also caused problems.  So, my conclusion was that Transcribe+ was not very productive.

I was able to accomplish approximately 100 lines per hour at Archivus with a Transcribe+ account that originates in Florida, which required a ton of lookups for doctor names and geographical information.  It seemed that the client was not very helpful in providing this information.  The recruiter/QA supervisor was ever so quick to defend QA but slow to help me, even when I was 100% sure that QA had erred. She did not allow disagreement with QA.  In fact, if QA had a complaint and I asked what report they were referring to, this recruiter/QA supervisor replied that QA did not have time to respond to my request for further information.

That Florida account had some of the worse non-ESL dictators that I have ever encountered.

Transcribe+ is not the only platform that Archivus uses.  I have also seen ads where Dictaphone ExtText was mentioned.  IMHO, Dictaphone ExtText is more user-friendly than Transcribe+.

With regards to startup timeline, it is based on the recruiter.  Once she decides she wants you to start, she expect you to be ready to go.  She seems very disorganized.  I found it interesting and disturbing that she never once spoke to me via phone; always emails.  I was afraid that my pay would somehow be late or inaccurate, but it was amazingly accurate and on time (direct deposit).

HTH.

Archivus or Transtech?
Which is the better of the two?  Also, are there two Transtechs, looks like one in Texas and one in Iowa.  Are these the same company, does anybody know?
Info on Archivus

I am a MT with 6-1/2 years expericne typing everything except radiology.  I'm looking for a company with fleixble scheduling.  I don't need benefits.  I'm wondering if Archivus offers flexible scheduling (what type of TAT is required) and if you would recommend this company.

Thanks,

Any Info. At All on ARCHIVUS?

Archivus questions

I was wondering how often Archivus pays and if they have Direct Deposit.  I have been contacted by Archivus and am being considered for a position but was looking for a quick answer to these questions.

Thanks,

Anyone working for Archivus?

Do you like it?  Good platform?  Pay?  Scheduling flex?

Thanks!!

Archivus and Probity
Looking for current info regarding the above two companies, please. Pros and cons?  Thanks for taking the time to post.
Archivus Feedback
I had a great experience hiring on with Archivus. I did not have to go through HR (?), just their hiring manager. I sent several MTs to them, and they have had similar experiences. They are hiring for several new accounts right now, so it would be worth touching base with them again. I'm sure they are juggling alot of applicants! I have enjoyed working with them for the past three months. I have had plenty of work and my check is always deposited on time!
One question about Archivus

What is their starting pay?  Do they pay everyone the same whether they have 2 years experience or 15 years?

I tried looking in the archives.  One post asked about the pay rate.  That post got one response from someone who worked there for 10 months yet wasn't sure about the cpl.  ???  They work there for 10 months but don't know how much they get paid?  Posts like this make me wonder

What I want to know is the pay range and whether or not it's worth it (to me) to go through the testing process.  Thanks!

Archivus - What do they pay? Trying to find out.

Archivus or U.S. Transcriptions Inc.
Anyone know anything about either of these 2 companies, would appreciate and TIA.
Archivus scheduling
Can anybody tell me if the scheduling at Archivus for clinic work is flexible?  Can you tell me anything about the platform?  Thank you!
