Wow. I went through the same thing GULP!
For some reason the offer was fantastic and seemed too good to be true, so I took something else, but asked if we could stay in touch. She said of course! Then, I wrote to this recruiter just a few days later because I was recalculating the money possibilities on both jobs and AT turned out better with what she promised (flexibility, both QA and type, really high line rate). She wrote back but said what she promised me was filled but said she had something for like 2 cents less a line, a different schedule and that QA was filled. I thought she said they'd still be interested. Oh, well, I figured that I missed out and I have regretted not taking that job at first ever since. Til I saw your post! Yikes!
I guess things do happen for a reason. I have a great job first good one in many years I think, honest people, etc. and I still wonder about that AT offer. Now I can forget about it and realize I was right that it was too good to be true. Thanks so much for your validation. I am not here on these boards to look for jobs anymore, but the companionship and validation is awesome! Thanks again for your comment!
