here's my take on it

Things I hate:

  1. PTO/Flex request ignored often, either never responded to or takes a couple of times of asking about it to receive an answer. And... the person responsible for dealing with this is always changing.

  2. The holiday schedule seems unfair. I don't know about you, but it almost takes an act of congress to get any holiday off. If we were perhaps being paid a holiday line bonus for working, it would take the sting out of this, but we do not.

  3. The communication between us, being the MTs, and them, being everyone else, seems a little one-sided. It seems like we are expected to respond right away to emails regarding OT... the famous mandatory OT..., schedules, accounts, mistakes, or anything else. It does not seem like we get the same timely responses and I always feel like I am imposing on them by asking anything.

  4. I wish I was paid more, but I think is a pretty typical wage for anywhere, so that is how it is.

What I do like:

  1. I like my account, the doctors, the work types, and do not run out of work very often.

  2. I like my schedule.

  3. I think for the most part the people are nice. I have never recieved a nasty email ever. The QA staff is very helpful and on the ball.

Could go on an on, but for the most part, I am happy. I am curious to see how the whole ASR pay thing goes down. That might tip the scales for me if it goes badly.
