here's what I got out of it...

The webinar was put on by Highmark BC/BS but the head WMX benefits guy was in attendance to clarify and to answer questions.  As of January 1, 2009, the BCBS Gold and Silver plans will no longer be offered.  They are replaced by 1 plan (and it seems the only plan offered).  The new plan is called PPO Blue and is supposed to be identical to the silver plan (I think, but am not sure).  HR sent an e-mail on 11/26/2008 with an attachment that contains a summary of plan coverage. 

The dental and vision plans will stay the same.
