You are asking if the work you receive at 5 p.m. has to be done by the next morning at 8 a.m., correct?
I have to agree with the other poster. There is only 1 way to find out and that is to talk to your supervisor. If you're done for the day by 3 p.m., maybe they can give that work to an evening person.
