What rate do you have? I emailed them. No response yet.
..
I had asked this several times, but got no response.

Everyone seemed to love the VR at TT, but no one would give an approximate percentage of VR reports that were 80% to 100% correction.  I asked this 3 different times and there were all sorts of responses from TT people after my posts, but yet no one answered this question.  So I kind of figured that it was a high amount, so I never applied.

I haven't gotten a response to the ONE should-be simple question I emailed and asked. (m)
I also wondered if anyone thought about the contracts we signed last year and if you felt that was related to this. I personally feel it did, felt like it was preparing them for something, to be protected. It says they can change our pay at-will pretty much though.
I've applied with them THREE times and have never received a response - sm
and it's not because I don't have experience. I had been with Brand X National for 8 years (you can probably figure out who) when I applied with Spheris, and I never got a response. Sent a second ap, nada. Third ap, still nothing.

Through this whole time period Spheris had want ads scattered all over the net. I'll never, ever understand why they didn't get in touch with me. Their loss....I'm now working for a local company and completely satisfied.

She/they were emailed numerous times by numerous MTs
Welcoming emails and actually responding to those emails are apparently two entirely different things.

hmmmmm

Well, I guess time will tell.  Tracy sent out a very nice email and my first impression is that she is a very nice lady.  She emphatically stated that offshoring was NOT in the plan.  I will take her at her word.  I've never been one to jump up and panic without good reason.  Anyhow, I'm probably overdue to be put out to pasture anyway so I'm not overly concerned about it. I'm only still MT-ing because I've started my day that way so very long it's like second nature and I probably wouldn't be able to get a thing done all day if I didn't hit the keyboard for a little while every morning (sometimes even on my days off).  What a nut case, huh? LOL  Money isn't the object anymore and I'm thankful for that.  One couldn't ask for a better place to work than TT but then that's just my opinion.  They certainly know how to staff their accounts so the only reason their MTs couldn't make a living would be if they didn't work.  The work is there and the pay is honest.

Hmmmmm....don't know how that's possible...SM
but I'd sure like to be on her account that lets her type 300 lph to make that! I am not wasting any time during my shift and can't seem to average more than about 130 lph. Sure I have hours that are higher or lower but I'm talking how it evens out over time.

The poster saying she can't make line count is not a shock to me...it's very hard to meet at Amphion. I'm not sure why you are so surprised; like you said, you haven't worked there yourself to see what it is like.

To original poster, I'm sorry this happened, and I wish you luck with the next company when you find it.
hmmmmm
Got my answer, they are based in the California, Phillipines, and Manila... okay... not my cup of tea, I don't think....
Hmmmmm
Well, I've never actually had a company ask for a hearing test. I understand we need to be able to hear well but people who hear great cannot necessarily transcribe great.

That being said, I certainly hope that is not a thing we're going to start seeing in the future because that certainly does not prove you can do the work one way or the other.

However, I do know professionals in my family who when applying for a high paying position are now being asked to sign a release so the company can look at their medical records to see how their health is and no doubt if they are at risk for using the insurance too much. My husband has had this happen before as well.

Hmmmmm
Why are you special that you get to judge someone you do not even know? It is the state of the industry, not this poor woman who got laid off. On the other hand, I think you sound like a SUIT.
hmmmmm. was that before she got lazy?
xxxxxxxxxx
Hmmmmm, maybe that is because you aren't an Ochsner MT.
I also hate it because we lost our QA Specialist to a better company. Everyone is leaving OSi, maybe I should also follow.
Address the same as Transend Services - HMMMMM ???

A lot of times, if they need extra help, they will over 1-1/2 times our regular rate. sm
This is the equivalent of OT but you get it even if you have not done 40 hours already. I have also received AmerExp gift cards a few times for incentives offered. I think it depends on the account.

I do know for sure that they are working on an incentive program but I have no details and not even sure if they are still looking at it.

I do know for sure that I make more $$ with Keystrokes than I have ever made anywhere else.

I emailed those below about LTS - sm
in short, good company, good people, pay on time, true IC, have 24-hour TAT---they give you the work, you get it in by deadline that is all they ask. Few hard docs, not a pool but you get do get a variety of assorted doctors (30 or so). They have many accounts at the one of the local hospitals and continously getting more. Plenty of work, in the five years I have worked for them I think it has gotten slow only 2 x and then only for a few days. Small MTSO, the owner and his office manager (who basically runs the company). If you have any questions, just email me.
i emailed you too!
