lowering pay

My line count varies depending on which account I am on. I am currently on Cornerstone, mostly doing VR. There are some days where I am lucky to get close to 2000 lines a day on VR in an 8 hour shift (some days I might do 2300-2400 if I havea good day). It does seem like I am doing more reports but my pay does not reflect this.

Also, it seems like I hear very little from my supe. I used to get updates every so often but now total silence. It would be nice to know how much work we have every so often. My hunch is that more work is being sent to India.

AND many are lowering the rate NOW

I see, 5, 6, 7, 8, everyday on the 2 job boards.  So that makes it even much less

Someone earning 9 CPL today is making the equivalent of less than 6 cpl in 1990

11 to 12 cpl is ridiculously low! But everyone to date on this board blames MQ for lowering the bar.
who is it driving down your line rates? Seriously, I am asking.  Who are you competing with to only charge 11 to 12 cpl. I get far more working for a company than that, and I also get more than that as an IC.  So, why are you so low?  I can't imagine you expect sympathy - you're the one choosing such a ridiculously low line rate, so it could not possibly be beneficial to you.  Its great to run your own company, but its supposed to be at a profit! So, why so low?
