I am a screwee, too, and did not even get so much as a kiss (not that I would want one from those folks!). Like you, I really put MDI first, many times short-changing my own family to do so. I actually thought I was helping them (I was) and building a future (turns out I wasn't). This morning I turned in my resignation. Please don't let this get you down. This has been a powerful bump in the road even for an old grandma like me who has seen everything. What worked for me was to look as what lessons I had learned. The main one was that I had been far too trusting and too accommodating and that in the future, I would give my needs and my family's needs at least as much consideration as some MTSOs. I think we should hold our great principles because they are what make us who we are. I refuse to let some folks who sold out make me betray my principles. That is why I quit. Each person has to handle this their own way, but I really hope you will feel better soon. No one deserves to be treated the way we were treated, no one. The thing that chaps me the most is that I would sit here for days on end wondering where the work was. Still I tried to be loyal. Loyalty--ha!
