I was an apprentice for a short time there and got a miserly pay for it. Added to that, I have not received the last 2 checks from them because of financial problems. Communication with them though is ok.
If I do not get paid for work done, I would not work for them. Never heard of anything like that before.
And yes, most of them do not give phone interviews, which is really very unethical - shows you how MTs are looked upon by these companies - the people-side of the business is put down at the bottom of the 3 Ps. Not a good way to do business. No wonder we have a lot of MTs here who are understandably discouraged about how they are being treated. These companies need to take lessons on human relations.
