I can tell you, as an ex-MTSO, that services are not getting what we used to get 10 years ago. In the last decade, between offshore competition, the fact that many US MTs produce crap, and the sheer pressure of accurate, fast, cheap.... There's a saying- You can have 2, which 2 do you want.

15 cpl is the average of what many services are able to charge. From that comes their costs for labor, equipment, taxes, and profit.

I've seen some accounts, hospital accounts no less, going for 12-13 cpl.
