I guess it was a pretty ridiculous question, but back in the day with my first company (20 years ago), I did get raises. It was a small company that truly cared about their transcriptionists. Once they started me on a new account, and the client was really happy with the work, so my boss sent me a check for 250.00. He used to give me 250.00 at Christmas. I was making 7.5 cents a line when I left him because he was going out of business, that was 10 years ago. I just got hired at 8.5. You are right there is no such thing anymore, but I can dream can't I? My neck, shoulders and arms kill me when I first get up in the morning. It sucks getting old! I work as hard as I can, but never enough money.
