using resources

Your are right to an extent; however, all the resources and Expanders in the world are not going to help when one gets inexperienced ESL interns, who dictate one laborious word at a time, shuffle through stacks of papers trying to find somebody else's report they can copy, while breathing heavily into the equipment, because nobody took the time to train them to dictate. Sure, I have had some 240 line-an-hour reports, then get shot down with these types of reports. I'm in a pool with over 400 dictators, the mojority are interns. Try a 15 minute dictation, which nets out 25 to 30 lines. Ark!!! Accouns do weigh heavily on one's production outcome. There are a lot of us in this situation. So we do have to make comparisons based on what we get to work with. I am happy for you though.

resources?
There is no spellcheck resource on this board. So you see Accouns and mojority? So do I. It's the content. We are not here to be QA'd but give our opinions.

Med-Tech Resources

Hello fellow MTs!!  Does anyone have any info on this company based out of Georgia?  Any info is appreciated.  Feel free to e-mail me if you would like.

TIA

Med-Tech Resources, GA?
If this is the company you are talking about, I worked for them for 3 years.  They used to have an in-house training program -- excellent intense program for 3 months which was equal to a 12-month program anywhere else.  I then worked in-house for a couple of months and then came home.  They have very strict QA, but I learned a lot from them.  They were having some financial difficulties about 3 years ago and there was question on the survival of the company, and that's when I left.  It's was also hard to get the shifts that I wanted there -- it seemed they played favorites a lot and I got really frustrated about them not wanting to be more flexible with schedules.  They are out of Marietta, GA, called Med-Tech Resources, and as far as I know are still in business.
you got the resources to contact them, but...
but like many of us, we couldn't get in touch with ANY OF THEM from trying to get a job (like me) to those already hired. I hope you find a way so you can get paid.

Does anyone know anything about Med-Tech Resources in Georgia?
Under Human Resources at top, then sm
I think it's under General.  There is a link to the updated jury duty policy and then under that is the link to the employee handbook.
MED-TECH RESOURCES- Does anyone have any information?
I could not find any current information of them. I am most curious about the benefits i.e. cost of insurance, PTO time, etc...
I worked for Med-Tech Resources many
years ago, went through their in-house OJT program, which was excellent bar none, but only worked for a short while for them because of another transcription opportunity presented to me closer to home (we had to work in-house then). They are a good company, have been around a long time, and I have one friend who has worked with them for years.

Would not hesitate to recommend Med-Tech Resources in Marietta, GA.

Anyone tested for Med-Tec Resources heard back from them yet? nm
