As soon as you can, my dear....I started around the age of 7 and 9 when they boyz  asked questions....Just answer truthfully the questions they're asking and what you think each one can comprehend.  (At that time HIV/AIDS just came into play).  Be informative, not scarey ....Wrap that rascal!....Pregnant is the least of our worries. 

You're their first teacher and they'll keep coming back for more info as the years go on and tell you stuff they won't even tell their dad that would curl your hair!
