I also read in her post that her daughter doesn't like to follow the rules, likes to push mom's buttons just because she can, and create unnecessary arguments. I also read that the girl is almost 18 years old...not 6. Maybe this mom is feeling that the girl needs to grow up and stop playing the "my parent's are divorced card."

All I'm saying is you don't have to be so hard on her right from the beginning.
