I had a nodule on my thyroid many years ago. My thyroid was even enlarged. I ended up having half of my thyroid taken out because it was pressing on my windpipe. When they took the left half of my thyroid out, it was twice the size it should be. The doctor was worried, but the pathology report showed Hashimoto's thyroiditis---NOT CANCER. I know this is hard, but don't worry. You are in my prayers.
