Blankets? SO?

I actually went out and bought a body pillow, but never ended up using it.  I used a regular pillow for between my knees, but that was it.  I actually found the body pillow to be incredibly uncomfortable.  May try having extra blankets or borrowing your SO for support.  Congratulations by the way.  How exciting!  Good luck during delivery and with your newborn.  Feel free to e-mail anytime if you have any questions or just need to chat.  Although my LO is getting older now, I still remember how it felt like those first 3 months.  Enjoy yourself and sleep as much as you can.

I made one of the throw blankets like this
for pretty much all of my relatives last Christmas. It has been the single most rewarding gift I have ever given. My mom used hers a lot but, during her brief fight with lung cancer, she had a hard time staying warm and she wanted my cover with her ALL (I mean literally ALL) the time. She had it right up until the minute she died. Of whatever I might inherit from her, I already know that I'm getting that blanket back, and there is no material thing on this earth at this time that I will treasure more.

On a more cheerful note, ALL of the relatives loved them and use them frequently to curl up and watch TV or whatever.
to be cheap - I buy ready made blankets
big lots, target, saw them somewhere in an add for 2.50 in yesterday's paper - that does limit your size but I'm making them for no reason - it is very therapeutic for me - just really got into tying those knots - made them for my daughters at Christmas (adults) and now I am thinking it would be good to keep one in cars too, for trips and in case you got stuck and it was cold because they are warm!
A friend of mine told me about these cute blankets
She's making them for her nieces, and her daughters (11 and 8) actually want to give their cousins these blankets.  She also bought the fabric from a local craft store and plans to attach a book.  Gift done with love!  Love homemade gifts!!
