Blankie ?

My DIL's are very fussy and would not want something that looks tacky or not like it came from Martha Stewart. Does the fringe unravel with washing or become ratty looking? Also, are these the size of twin bed blanket sizes or just a throw such as one uses to wrap up with (come in rolls), as our local Job Lot has fleece rolls for sale, but worried as I tend to get eye rolling when I attempt something such as this. Think the kids would love them but the moms?? kinda worried about that! If you buy fleece material with no binding, doesn't it look unfinished at the end you don't fringe? BTW, I am a product of a poor childhood, so anything to me is a gift, my best gift was a paint set and I never forgot it, I appreciate everything, always!!
