Carol of the Bells and Little Drummer Boy
x
Oh, thanks. Funny, I saw the old Christmas Carol
on AMC last night and I thought that Scrooge was more fun when he was crabby! All of a sudden and 3 ghosts later, he is all goody goody and buying everyone gifts. Oh, brother. Now, wait a minute, maybe I am a Scrooge! But for the first time I realized how ridiculous even that movie is. Scrooge becomes commercialized buying everyone everything and everyone likes him. What does that mean? I actually think when Tiny Tim's family did not have all that fancy stuff, they were just as happy, and they looked more wealthy than kings with all of that love. Of course then, without Scrooge's money Tiny Tim would be in the grave. Bah, humbug, I say! Christmas is not about money! It's about giving of one's self and that does not have to be money. Well, see I am still a crab, but maybe I am figuring out what's wrong with me this year. Seems like the people who rack up the most credit card bills are happiest on TV commercials, but not me no way I say bah humbug, but not with a frown, with a smile! And I wish you the best of the season too, and all my friends who posted here, because Christmas is about friends and support, not the value of a dollar. :)
I so agree - Miss Doug and Carol and Mark
I watch it every now and then on TNT, but haven't watched it on Thursday nights much after Carter and Lucy got hacked up.
