Cat fur problems

I have a cat who began at age 12 to pull out patches in her back near her tail. I am no expert, but she was cared for by the vet, and it was not until I talked to a friend who told me she had a cat who did the same thing. My friend did research as this quirk could possibly be a sign of early chronic renal failure. Not uncommon in an older cat. There is a web site for a remedy that helps. Not a cure, but helps if this pulling fur is indeed due to early signs of chronic renal failure. Just key in on your internet explorer Astro's Oil. It is an omega-3 oil, perfectly safe, for cats. I have to say it has helped my cat tremendously. Fur is coming back shiny again, and she is not pulling it out any more.
