Don't worry, David A will will, Simon made sure of that.

I was completely disgusted last night, watching them trying to sway the votes.  Every single online poll for WEEKS has had David Cook far ahead of the others, so they have to play the BS card last night to make it look like David A. is better so when they fake the votes and he wins, it doesn't look rigged.

I do like David A. but Cook is far more talented and has more range/versitility and appeals to a larger audience.  I know he will do well either way, better than David A. in my opinion - but I would love for him to get the recognition of actually winning.

i think iit was all made in fun, and besides if Simon did not like him
he would not be hosting the show.
One hour, it's on here now and Simon just made a snide remark about Taylor Hicks
AGAIN! lol Enjoy :)
David Cook/David Archuleta
I think they will be in the finale. I missed the first half hour last night so I didn't get to see David Cook. I heard he was taken to the hospital. I'm glad he's okay.

I also love Michael Johns, not the best singer, but I love his looks and his accent.

Did you ever notice how bored Simon always looks?
Worry about finances but don't worry about insurance. sm
Most of the time, the father is awarded through court to provide insurance on the children as well as child support. If not, you might would qualify for some assistance on healthcare for the children. There are a lot of programs out there now. You could always try to find an employee position although that doesn't seem to easy this day and time. In the end, money does not buy happiness nor love.
What about David C?
I thought David C did a brilliant job on Music of the Night (except for that last note which I didn't agree with him singing like that).  Having been to Phantom I know that song and the scene and thought he did it rather well.
I cannot stand her but I do like David

David Beckham
British, good looking, incredible body. Yum!
AI - David Cook
My husband did not like him at all last night. I don't think he likes him period. He said he's very arrogant. My daughter and I have him pegged as the winner, although I didn't think he was as good as usual last night. On Dial Idol.com they have David Cook in the bottom three along with Carly and Syesha (Sorry if these are spelled wrong). I'm not sure what'll happen tonight.
If David A doesn't win, then there is something
definitely wrong. The young man has "perfect pitch" -- an accomplishment which only approximately an elite 1,000 people possess in the US and Europe. Definite childhood prodigy if I have ever heard one.
YAY 4 DAVID COOK!
I finally picked the "American Idol" winner!!!
David Cassidy for me too!
Every Friday night you could find me in front of the t.v.  I also saw him in concert.  My dad took the day off from work just to take me and sat me on his shoulders so I could see him better.  I remember my heart was beating so fast!!  I was so in love with him.  I was all of 10 years old!  My dad still teases me on how he missed OT so that he could take me!
What did Simon say?
I only saw the end of the show last night and missed the rest...what did he say???
Simon
He is my sweet lhasa-poo!
My dog, Simon,

Lays across my foot, which cramps my style sometimes with my foot pedal, but it sure is nice in cold weather!

Simon
Oh I like Simon for the most part, but he can be a jerk at times. I don't think they should sugarcoat, but he could try not ripping out someone's heart when giving criticism (like that one girl that he told "if it's any condolence you wouldn't have won anyways") I mean that really wasn't necessary! But that's part of the shows ratings!

I can't remember the kids name either, but I thought he was good, and I think he could be marketable if they dressed him up a bit.

Still wish Jamal had made it. And I don't know if I'll ever get over Tatiana's looniness. I still wish Rose had made it, I really liked her, she was original!
David Beckham, he is not an actor
but I love that accent.
I thought David C was amazing
I love both David's and I think they'll both be in the finale. I didn't think Jason did such a good job last night at all, but I think it is Brooke's time to go.
Yep, David A has to be the winner. He was last night.
I like David C also, but he just sounded like he was struggling. Just did not seem like he wants to win.
I may be dating myself but it was David Cassidy!
xxx
I saw Simon lean over and say something
to Paula. It can't have been good. And Ryan came right out and asked what she'd spent her money on, and she says SHOES! Um, we hadn't noticed the shoes, gal. Not with those balloons popping out of that ugly dress that didn't fit. Money never did buy taste. The voice is still pretty though.
I think even Simon is getting worried
He said if Sanjaya wins he will quit. He must be getting a lot of votes. Even Howard Stern is pushing people to vote for the kid.
That seems to be what Simon thinks
and I agree they will probably do well. I think the guy in the red/orange suit - lol - will be going home. He was sort of terrible. David is it? The 17 year old. Just how much cuteness can one have? LOVE HIM! But I am just drooling over the guy that sang c'mon baby light my fire and oh yes I definitely would! Is he hot or what? lol. I can't wait to see the girls tonight. I just love this show.
To me, there IS no show without Simon. The other
judges are predictable fluff, but he actually voices a real opinion without holding back, even if I occasionally disagree with him. I think keeping Kara and/or letting Simon leave would seriously screw up the show & make them lose a lot of viewers!
Anybody watching Color Splash with David

Bromstad?  He is the winner of that Design Star show on HGTV.

I've seen his show several times.  I especially like his use of silk.  The sheen of silk and the intensity of the colors makes me want to sew my own curtains and pillows ... okay, not quite, but I wish I could get excited about doing all that work to get exactly the look I want, LOL.

David's Bridal Shops all over the country I think

Pretty wild about David Ducouvne

That's an addiction you don't hear very much about even though it is out there.

I agree probably to annoy Simon
but it is just not fair to the other contestants who should not be voted off.

I watch the show for the talent, not the fun and games but that is what gets the ratings.

Probably will stop watching if this nonsense continues.
Ryan and Simon are FRIENDS
He wasn't being nasty or rude IMO. In fact, Ryan set him up for that "Come out" comment and he knew it. Might have even been planned ahead of time.

Not sure why everyone else is upset about the comments if Ryan isn't. JMO
I believe Simon AND Randy were in shock too!

Will answer about who cares about Simon
She stated when booted off, "I love you Simon but I really don’t care." She was asked by Ryan what did she say and it was repeated. Well, no one needs to care about Simon unless they want to continue to be on the show, get exposure for their work, land a multimillion dollar contract. Other than that I would say let her go with the wind. I thought she was a real twit. She was really the worst so I can understand her being targeted as votefortheworst, sounds like they picked the right one!
bye bye Chris. Simon was cruel
when he said that Danny beat Chris in the duet.  That just did Chris in.  He was marked as a defeated man for the rest of the show.  Or maybe it was just me.
I LOVED Bobby Sherman and David Soul, sm
Now, it's Zac Efron.  Yeah, yeah, I know, I'm WAYYYYY too old, but he is such a cutie, and I don't think I'm the only mom that thinks that way - thank heaven's he's 21..
My family made home-made mozzarella,
and it was very good. I was pretty small at the time, so I don't remember the exact process, just that it was done pretty quickly, and a lot of milk was used.

I don't know if you'll save a lot of money making your own cheese. The cost of milk is very high, too, and you need a lot of milk to make cheese.
The funny (sad?) thing about Simon's comment (sm)
is that Sanjaya thought he was sincerely complimenting him. He didn't seem to understand that Simon was hoping if perhaps he made a positive comment instead of a negative one that Sanjaya might actually get the boot this week. Let's hope it works!
I agree, I'm not really even watching...but what did Simon say to Melinda?
Just curious about that.
Actucally Ryan and Simon's remarks to each other
are just for show. They are actucally very good friends in real life. Not that I necessarily think it is funny, but it is sometimes fun to see someone go after Simon and know they won't be judged (as in the singers).
Actually Simon has the nose for real talent
and he is only telling the truth whereas Paula, Kara and sometimes even Randy try to sugarcoat. I totally am fully behind Simon. Danny is good but who was the second guy who sang, slow song and had not seen him before, really good. As far as replacing the girl thrown off, they did not announce a replacement of any kind. I was surprised that Danny's friend did not make it. He is really good, also. I like Danny, think he will go far because not only good singer but also very, very likeable. I was also surprised that lots seemed really nervous last night and I think it showed big time. I think the guys have the girls beat all over the place this time. I think Tatiana is good but might have gotten off on a bad footing with the audience because of acting so looney.
Drummer Boy duet Bing Cosby/David Bowie
makes me cry...
Exactly, I think Kara should go and Randy, Paula and Simon should stay
like it was before.

Chris will go today!

Don't worry...
My last pregnancy my dates were off by a week also and my little girl was born 12 weeks ago tomorrow...healthy at 7 pounds 2 ounces...
Not to worry
He probably just wants to know what it feels like to wear diapers. The fact that he does it by himself in private says that he understands that you would not approve of it.

If he were regressing, the diapers would not be clean - they would be soiled.

It's not that unusual and absolutely nothing to be concerned about. If he is still doing it in 3 mos., I would talk to the pediatrician. But for now, let him be.
don't worry
I live outside Cleveland (Lake Erie) and you can only go to the beach a few months a year!
You still worry, but sm
after in college, even you pay the bills, they are adults, and deserve freedom and privacy. My house my rules sucks, for everyone. Let go. It will be okay.
More than that, I would worry about the
fact can you get insurance coverage there or if so, can you keep it? I am hearing loads of people being denied insurance on the coast and even people who have not been threatened or hit by these hurricaines, as higher up the east coast, insurance is being cancelled right and left. I love the coast line to visit but I would really have cause to think this 1 out really well.
Don't worry but...
this happened to two of our older cats (various times in my life) where they would get antsy and roam around and eventually would keep trying to get outside (not outdoor cats either) and when this happened they passed away and were found dead just of old age...Someone once told me and I do not know if it is true or not that some cats will want to up and run away when they know it is time to die...it is like an instinct. I don't know if I believe that or not, but it has happened twice to me...once when I was a child and later as an adult...so sad.
Thank you and don't worry, I'm
not listenting to the one negative post I got. I know what's best for my kids and I know giving them nurture and ALL my love is what is best. Like I said before, he is still scared to sleep upstairs and I only wish we knew we were going to have kids when we built our 2-story! Things would have been different and it would have been a 1-story, but oh well, you work with what you've got!
What me worry?
You see I named it "Mother of the Year" that was tongue in cheek referencing their mother.
Don't worry about it yet - sm
Having raised four totally different kids, I can tell you their personalities, development, everything was completely different.

One walked at 8 months (seriously) and another didn't walk until she was well over a year. The same late walker, never crawled, never bothered to learn to speak very much until she was about two. Her sister is very close in age (older) and they had this secret language that only they understood and big sis "translated" everything for her baby sis. Baby sis didn't have a reason to walk, talk, or anything else. She had three older siblings (the two older ones were 6 and 9 years older) who did everything for her.

Don't sweat it yet. Could just be a late bloomer. My late bloomer is now 15 and I can't get her to sit still or shut up! LOL
not to worry - sm
It's tough to tie ourselves up with something like this. I completely understand. During the past few years my husband has lost his job, got a new one, I have lost income to various reasons (mostly not enough work) but have managed to stick with the plan.

Sometimes it hurts just a little bit for sure.

In your situation, maybe you can set your limits a little lower according to your income each month but maintain one constant... the one you are trying to pay off. Other things can slide a little bit if they need to but just maintain that one bill that you are putting the bigger money on.

I should have mentioned earlier too - Car insurance!

Did you know that some companies offer you a tiny little discount when you pay every 6 months or once a year, rather than once a month?

I now pay about $30 less every year because I pay every 6 months. I know, it's only $30 but it is what it is right?

While everything may not really be negotiable, that's the attitude I have adopted and it has helped me change my money habits for sure.

So what if they tell you no the first time, or the second time, or even the third. Keep asking.

By the way, if you remember the name of that book, please post it. I would be interested in reading it too. Maybe there is something else I have missed that I could be doing.
