He played the biggest jerk as Dr. Geiger on Chicago Hope but you couldn't help but love him.
I remember one of his quotes. A lady was complaining about her open heart surgery and he told her "Don't worry, you'll look like a centerfold, and you'll have the staples to prove it." The show kind of fell apart after he left. I never could get into ER, nor can I get into Grey's Anatomy but I do love Scrubs.
