Doug Ross finally got himself in trouble that he couldn't get out of with a PCA clinical trial he was doing and giving it to a pediatric patient that wasn't in the study and somehow the child ended up dying from it (He was terminal anyway, but I'm not sure if Doug did it or showed the mother how to unlock the machine. He said he showed her, but....) He ended up quitting and moving to Seattle but Carol stayed another year and had twins by herself and ended up joining him in Seattle I think at the end of the next season. Mark Greene had recurrence of a brain tumor that had been in remission and ended up dying of it. Cry everytime I watch all of those episodes. It went so downhill after that.
