God bless you for considering being a foster!

So you are fostering the dog, not actually
adopting him yourself?

Do you know when the dog went to the vet last? Has a vet seen him for this cough? I'd want to know, because right now it doesn't sound too responsible of them.

If you can get to the AOL pet boards, they have a Vet-to-Vet board and also rescue boards (but wear a helmet to post there).

fostering animals
Does anyone foster animals? I've been thinking of fostering a dog or cat and wonder what exactly is involved.
We talked about fostering but my daughter
couldn't deal with giving them up. For now we just try to help in other ways.

I really admire your dedication to this. I have a friend whose home has been over run with cats and dogs for the same reason. She just wants to save them. Taking care of them has become a full-time job for her.
