to him. He will never change and you will never get out from under. My best friend just got an apt. and she has bad credit. Declared bankrupty a few years ago too I think about 5 years ago. Eventually bought another house and just had that house foreclosed on too (was able to sell it by a miracle though and pay off the mortgage and some of the second which took a short sale), moved in with her boyfriend (and to help him from losing his house), along with her 2 kids, he became psycho all of a sudden after 3 years....could not deal with the kids though they are older, 15 and 17 and good kids. She is moving out, only way to "save" the relationship until kids are gone. He recently lost custody of his son and is jealous that she has her kids, typical male acting like a 2-y/o. Even with her bad credit she got approved with a 2 BR apt (her BR will be the DR, she is given the kids the actual bedrooms). I'd start hunting for a smaller place unless you can renew where you are in your own name. Try it, you have nothing to lose.
