Had 3, then OK

In Reply to: Anyone have 2 miscarriages? sm - Inquiring mind

I had 3 miscarriages  in a row over about a 2-year time span, then 2 perfectly normal pregnancies.   They started testing after the 3rd miscarriage and didn't find anything physiologically or genetically wrong.  Having 2 normal pregnancies after that makes me feel that maybe they were right - sometimes it's just the "luck of the draw," as miscarriages are extremely common.   It was pretty devasting at the time, though, and husband and I had decided that if we lost pregnancy #4 we weren't going to go through it again.  But we didn't lose #4, and now I have 2 very wonderful daughters.   Sorry for what you're going through - I know how difficult it is.
