I'd visit with that kid's mom and tell her that how you raise your child is none of her business, and you'd appreciate her discontinuing the negative comments about him and the other kids in the neighborhood. Do not apologize or have your child apologize for anything he ever does unless you truly think it's inappropriate. Also tell her that kids and parents don't like tattletales, and her son needs to learn to handle his own problems with other kids instead of ratting on them, unless of course another child does something that is physically harmful or dangerous.
As far as her comments about how active you are/are not in church, tell her that that is none of her business and is personal between you and God. Remind her that the Bible says "Judge not, lest you be judged."
If she continues after that then just use caller ID if you have it to screen calls and ignore her when you see her name on the screen.
